Following the public tender organized by the Slănic Moldova City Hall for the acquisition and implementation of an air quality monitoring solution in the resort — a tender won by Syswin Solutions — the SmartAir City air quality monitoring system was installed in the town center.
This equipment enables the detection of concentrations of the following gases: NO, NO₂, CO, CO₂, as well as fine suspended particles: PM₁₀, PM₂.₅, and PM₁. The data collected by this device will be made available to residents and tourists through the website
As is well known, the European Union mandates the measurement of atmospheric pollutant emissions and also provides financial support to local and central administrations for the implementation of specific solutions to monitor air quality and sources of urban and industrial pollution.
The SmartAir City system is entirely designed and developed by Syswin Solutions, a Romanian SME specializing in applied research and development, and a national leader in IoT solutions for Smart Cities and Precision Agriculture.
